How much are secured my voice files or transcribed reports at your end?
No transcript is ever lost. All information is stored on secure servers. The Internet
security is the same level as that used by leading medical, insurance, and financial
institutions.
Our IT section is totally secured. We have strict in-group IT FFD (Freedom from
Danger) policy to ensure client data confidentiality. Each person before becoming
our employee is bound to sign CNDA (Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure Agreement)
to ensure client data covertness. When one will sign this agreement then he/she
will become MAS Medi’s employee, and this agreement will be affected two years after
leaving the organization.

What you recommend for dictation recording?
MAS Medi recommends digital recorder (Olympus DS-4000) for its simplicity in operation
for the physicians. The Olympus DS-4000 comes packed with many features to put itself
above the competition. Olympus DS-4000 digital recorder has a helpful slide switch
mechanism, so with their thumb on a single switch the physicians can “play”, “forward”,
“pause” and “rewind”. The powerful DS-4000 includes a USB docking station for recharging
of Ni-MH battery pack and downloading data to a PC. When connected to a computer,
the DS-4000 can be utilized as a USB speaker and microphone (when using voice recognition
software) and also the DS-4000 will automatically synchronize its clock with your
PC using the DSS Player Pro Dictation software. An easy-to-read backlit LCD display
also allows you to use the recorder even in low-light conditions. With more than
11 hours of DSS recording capacity available, up to 7 separate folders for organizing
your voice files (199 files per folder), and noise canceling technology for clearer
sound, the DS-4000 is a powerful addition to any digital recording library. Buy

What is your TAT (turnaround time)?
Normally for clinics and physicians who give us their transcription work regularly,
we define our production process to deliver back the transcribed reports in 12 hours.
In other words, when you upload your dictations on the evening of your day, you
get back your transcribed reports on the following morning when you come back to
the clinic. This is one of the key advantages of taking our transcription services
from Pakistan. This is our general practice. But for clinics or physicians who offload
their work in the end of a week in a bulk manner, the TAT will be decided and committed
on a case to case basis.
